Bizzl Party in Bad Nauheim

Melanie and I went to a bizzl party last night. It was fairly interesting and crowded. The group Face To Face played and it was pretty apparent that they were stuck in the 1980’s. By the third song, “Like A Virgin” by Madonna, I knew I was going to take a litlte trip down childhood memory lane. I think my own parents would have had a blast attending the event. Although there was a lot of alcohol going around, I did not see one overly drunk obnoxious person. I quite liked it.Melanie ordered some sort of apple juice and I had carbonated water as usual.

An interesting tibit about German glassware in restaurant and pubs is that they are marked with their amount in milliliters near the rims. Basically, it is a way for the business to cover their backs if a customer complains about their glasses not being filled fairly.

But, the highlight of my night really was just the the Döner Kebab Stand. I mean half the time I was staring at the kebab as it sizzled and dripped fat. Before long, it dawned on me that I might have been giving the Döner guy the wrong impression. Sorry but I find shaving the meat off the huge kebab intriguing. Why? I don’t know why. I don’t even like lamb meat that much. After staring for  about 30 minutes, I broke down and bought one. Even after my purchase, my attention veered towards the kebab every few minutes. It was just very hypnotizing…

And, the Döner… Delicious!!!
